Anna, a 5-year-old girl, has a little sister, Sharon; they are literally a force of nature.
The two of them should have an older brother too, but he just isnít there. Since the girls were born, their parents told them a thousand stories about Riccardo, but trying to feel him close is not so easy for them, until one day, during a long summer afternoon, a dozen of videotapes are retrieved from the bottom of a wardrobe. Theyíre all about the lost days with Riccardo, from fifteen years before. Anna and Sharon could now meet their brother, see him moving, and hear his voice for the first time.
The holiday season turns itself into the tale of a family. Meanwhile, in the endless countryside, rituals of sowing and harvest are performed.
